So I threw out my old mascara because it was already 4 months old (and I barely used it...geez what a waste of money) and I decided to try out Glam Eyes, but not the pink one. I'm skeptical of non-waterproof mascaras. So far I've used it once and I'm not impressed, my old mascara was better. No volume no nothing. The wand is really hard to use IMO, but maybe I'll just have to get used to it. Have any of you girls used Glam Eyes before? Any tips?

The months of September, October, November and early December are the months in which national exams take place and everybody's just looking forward to Christmas break! I remember around this time in 2007 when I was sitting for SPM (kinda like O Levels but at 17) I was already whining about the UPSR and PMR students having holidays...but now I look back and realize those were good times. Now my exams end JUST before Christmas week! :( Sigh the life of a uni student. I wonder if any uni is crazy enough to extend their fall semesters til Xmas Eve LOL. Better not jinx it!

I can't wait!! I've got so much planned for the holidays, I might be performing for prom (if I get selected, still waiting for the audition results) and SINGAPORE!! Shopping time! Oh by the way, have any of you Singaporean readers been to the Night Safari thingy? I've heard a lot of good things about it. If you have, do leave a comment and tell me if it's worth it. Oh and suggest some places for me to go to! Doesn't necessarily have to be tourist spots since I've already seen Orchard Road twice. Any "inner" areas with good food/scenery/stuff to do?

There's only 2 months left for this year, 2009, so I encourage all of you to make the best out of it! Do constructive things and set little goals to achieve each day. Oh, and be sure to smile and be happy! :D Even if you hate waking up for work or school, start the day off with something positive (it can be coffee if that makes you happy haha) and watch how your day becomes significantly more pleasant.

Hi guys! It's been a while eh? Been busy with uni (as usual) and I've 6 more weeks til holidays! 4 weeks of classes left and 2 weeks of exams. Can't wait...I'm finding it harder and harder to pay attention in class and just thinking about the remainder of my group assignments gets me agitated. Anyway, here's my Halloween look from the BPsych Harry Potter themed one. It was horrible by the way, BAD organizing. It was so last minute and not worth my 13 bucks IMO. I had a bad feeling about it, which is why I didn't bother to dress up much x)

I was thinking of dressing up as a typical Gryffindor but I'm also liking the idea of being a sultry and seductive (lol!) Slytherin student Death Eater with the Dark Mark on my left arm.

What do you think? Any other suggestions? Should I do something with my hair? I think it's too short to curl though...but I can always try. Suggestions for makeup? :D

Are you guys going to a Halloween party/event this year? I've decided to go for the one that the Psycho department is organizing at my college. HOGWARTS THEME!!!! Harry Potter! Apparently there's gonna be a mock Great Hall, Chamber of Secrets, Goblet of Fire etc. It's my first Halloween so I'm determined to dress up as well as I can!

I didn't want to buy a red lipstick just for the event, so I experimented with my 120 eyeshadow palette and used the reddest shade I had on my lips, together with an old pink gloss from Shu Uemura.

It's not as opaque and as neat as using an actual lipstick but it'll do! :D

I'm sure all of us have been through this situation where you're assigned to a group for a group project. It's probably worth...30% of your overall grade. Then, one or two (or most, heaven forbid) of your group members magically disappear, don't answer emails, phone calls and smses, and those who do, end up not doing their share of their work anyway.

I'm not a heartless person by nature but when it comes to social loafers aka irresponsible group members, I show absolutely no mercy unless it's something important like a family emergency or illness or some other serious personal problem. Other than that, I talk to my lecturer and make sure the social loafer(s) get a big fat zero.

I'm not sure if this applies to working people since in the working world you're paid MONEY so I'm guessing not a lot of people dare to slack for fear of their salary? It's much worse in college and university though. Some people just don't give a crap about others you know what I mean?

So my question is, how do you guys deal with irresponsible group members? Or colleagues if you're working?

Without :) Gloss once in a while is fine but otherwise it's really annoying when my hair sticks to my gloss T_T

I don't know the difference O_O Can someone enlighten me? I only own one blush and I'm not even sure what colour it is LOL

As of now, definitely drugstore. I plan to purchase more high-end stuff next time when I start working

9. Sponge or Brush for LIQUID foundation?
I haven't tried using brushes before so I really can't say. Sponges are more hygienic in a sense because you can dispose of them after one use, no washing needed :)
